To the Baker Family - I worked with Mr. Baker at Frederick County National Bank. He would tell me stories about my grandfather, Dorsey King, who was his close friend and whom I never met. He was able to bring my Grandfather alive to me through his stories. I'm forever grateful for his caring and kind words. Blessings of peace - Christina King Martz

To all the Baker family, you have my prayers and sincere condolences.

I'm just one of many former FCNB employees who had the privilege to work with Nevin and call him a friend. I am not sure I have seen anyone command respect from the lowest level employees to every board member and everyone in between. I smile thinking of his many stories and the fact that he would always share one with you. The square corner 4th floor corner office light was always on until 9, 10, maybe even 11 at night. There are many bankers, but none like Mr. Baker. RIP Nevin. We'll miss you.

Sincere condolences to the Baker family. At FCNB Nevin was an outstanding leader, but more importantly, he was a good friend to all of us who knew him.

My recently departed husband, Hal Keller,SR, considered Nevin Baker his very dearest friend. For MANY years, Nevin was always "there" when Hal needed some advice, or just someone to talk to. Hal asked Nevin to be Godfather to our son, Bill, - a job Nevin filled beyond expectations. Our family will truly miss him - his cards, his phone calls and his visits. Our condolences to his many children and grand-children.
