Olivia Wilhide Obituary

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Olivia Marie Wilhide on September 14, 2022. Olivia was born in Frederick Md on August 15, 1998 to Ray and Claire Wilhide of Frederick.

Olivia is the loving daughter of Claire Wilhide, beloved sister of Courtney Wilhide, Michael Wilhide, Sean Wilhide, Gina Wilhide and Rachel Hatfield, and beloved Aunt to George, Louise, and Violet Wilhide. Olivia was preceded in death by her father, Ray Wilhide, her brother, TJ Luck, and dear friends, Nic Hood and Collin D'Aquino.

From the moment she was born, Olivia brought a profound joy to our family that only she could create. When she walked in a room, everyone would light up in her presence. Always the great unifier, she will be remembered for bringing her many friends together, whom she loved and adored deeply. Olivia had such wisdom beyond her years, she had the ability to bring comfort and ease to all around her and would give counsel to anyone in need. She loved spending time in her home away from home, Duck NC. She was restored by the ocean and the atmosphere of the home she spent her summers in. Olivia had an indescribable sense of humor and quick wit. Being an Aunt was one of her greatest joys in life. She was almost one of the kids, and her adult status was often questioned by her nephew George. Hearing all the kids squeal "Aunt Livvie!" brought the biggest smile across her face as she would bend down to scoop them up. George, Louise, and Violet want their Aunt Livvie to know how much they love her, how much fun they had playing with her, drawing, painting pumpkins, writing stories, and most of all making each other laugh.

Her creativity extended to so many realms; theater, art, photography, decorating, and so much more. Olivia was a natural at anything she decided to explore. She loved animals, experiencing nature, and also the city life in Denver, Baltimore, Philadelphia, and New York. Her bravery and courage surprised and inspired all of us.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 25 from 11 AM to 1:30 PM at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick. A celebration of Olivia's life will follow at 1:30 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites friends and members of the community to donate to "Heartly House" or "Friends Of Baker Park".
