Paul Spalding Obituary

Mr. Paul G. Spalding, 60, of Laurel, formerly of Frederick, died Saturday, Oct. 5.

He was the husband of Gwendolyn Spalding.

He was a son of Esther Spalding, and the late Maurice Spalding.

Mr. Spalding was a member of Pentalpha Lodge 194 AF&A Masons, 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason A&ASR, Noble of Alighan Shrine and Pentalpha Chapter 38 Order of the Eastern Star.

He was employed as a supervisor for Bell Atlantic Telephone Co. and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are five children, Paula M. Holmes, A. Michelle Spalding, Ashley Mathews, Paul G. Spalding II and Christopher L. Dorsey; sister, Catherine M. Loop; and brothers, Garland and Gregory Spalding.

Mr. Spalding was preceded in death by a sister, Victoria A. Echleberger.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday Oct. 10, at Wesley Grove United Methodist Church, Woodfield.

Donaldson Funeral Home, Laurel, is handling the arrangements.
