To all of the Stup siblings & MaryAlice and Mandy,
No words can convey the sadness, sorrow & grief I feel for you over Dave's early passing. From young childhood when we moved to Ball Road & our families met, our lives became entwined & there wasn't a day that we weren't part of each other's lives. Even after we were grown & had our own lives, whenever we would see each other, it was as though no time had passed at all. Getting this news was like hearing my own brother had passed .. still in shock. Mary Alice, I can still see you standing in the doorway of the classroom at West Frederick & you kept asking me about "Dave Stup" ..so long ago. May His peace that passes understanding keep you now & always...may you find & remember good memories in the midst of your sorrow..and may you find comfort in knowing Dave passed doing what he enjoyed. Our sympathies & sorrow. With much love, Pat(Lydard) Stark

Mary Alice ;
I am so sorry to learn of Dave’s death. Shane Lowery told me about it. (Mark’s foster son). I enjoyed my visits with you at the shop and enjoyed my business and personal relationship. He died too young and sorry he was unable to enjoy retirement longer. God Bless You and the family.

Mary Alice & Amanda:
My heart breaks for you and Amanda. I was so sorry to hear that Dave had died in a boating accident. My brothers and I grew up with Dave on Ball Road. We always had so much fun together. I will always cherish my memories of Dave. Please know that you and the family are all in my thoughts and prayers.
