Randall Grimes Obituary

Randy passed away Sunday, August 11, 2013 to rest with God, the beloved husband of Belle Grimes. He was a loving husband, father to Jesse and Kelly, and grandchildren Chandler, Alysa and Lily. A precious brother to Laurie, Bob and Barb, a dear friend to Andy, Al, Cary and Jim and many others.
He will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched! Randy suffered with CNS and Ocular Lynephona for almost 4 years. He was a research scientist and a pharm D Pharmacist for the Waynesboro Hospital for 10 years. He delighted in John Candy movies and train trips along the East Coast. He loved flags and the Civil War. He flew 2 flags every day from his home.
Randy adored his family, especially his wife. Randy and his wife were a very close couple for 26 years. He was very helpful in raising Belle's 2 children to become wonderful adults, under his guidance. Randy was a selfless, loving, kind, calm under stress and loved God and life. He looked forward to growing old with Belle. Randy will be deeply missed as he has been Belle's rock and a true blessing from Jesus. Please continue to pray for Randy's family as they mourn the loss of a great and good man.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main St., Thurmont on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 from 6-8PM and Wednesday, August 14 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 15, at 11AM at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 15 N. Church St., Thurmont.
Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Cemetery.
