Ronald Maruskin Obituary

Poland - Dr. Ronald T. Maruskin, 85, of Warren passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024 at Hospice House in Poland. It was a cold December night when Ron was born in Youngstown, Ohio. The son of late parents, Joseph and Mildred Maruskin. He was followed in time and survived by a sister Elaine Havrilla and brother Maurus Maruskin. He attended Ursuline High School and graduated in 1956. After graduation he attended Mount Saint Mary's seminary in Cincinnati, Ohio. Upon leaving the seminary, he subsequently got married and had two wonderful children Kevin and Kristen followed by three lovely grandchildren, Hayley, Emily and Jack. All presently live in MD. Educationally, he received a doctorate from Kent State University with attendant work as a school psychologist in Trumbull County, and teacher at Youngstown State University. He dearly loved his family and friends but according to God's plan passed on to the heavenly gate. Family and friends may visit and pay tribute to Ron on Thursday morning, June 13, 2024 from 9 to 10am at Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, 3020 Reeves Road NE Warren, OH 44483. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10am at Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Ed Stafford presiding. Burial will follow at All Souls Cemetery.
