Sandra Crist Obituary
Born March 26, 1942 in Frederick she was the daughter of the late Austin A. and Helen Lewis Summers.
After graduating from Frederick High School, she attended Frederick Community College, graduated from Sheperd College, and attended Shippensburg State College.
She taught school at Hagerstown Junior College and Frederick High School until 1975. She worked for People's Life Insurance Co., Sagner, as a secretary, Frederick County National Bank as a bookkeeper, and Nicklas, Prete, and Sinton.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Jefferson and had played in the Sunday School orchestra.
She was also a member of the Yellow Springs Concert Band where she served as secretary for many years. She began playing in band in 1958.
She is survived by many cousins.
Graveside funeral services will be held 2 PM on Monday December 22 in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick. Rev. Katrina Holland will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church Endowment Fund.
