Sarah Hoffman Obituary
Sally was born on March 17, 1951, in Frederick, Maryland to the late Betty and Marion Hoffman, Sr.
Sally graduated from Frederick High School and Hood College, where she earned a bachelor's degree in sociology. She spent her career working for Frederick County in the Planning and Zoning department.
She was an animal lover, an avid supporter of animal charities and always had a heart for her cats.
Sally is survived by her niece, Michelle (Rob) Herman of Hagerstown, MD; two great-nephews, one great-niece; two great-great nieces; sister-in-law, Elaine Bundy, of Crownsville, MD; aunt, Susie Wiggins, of Frederick, MD; many cousins; and her longtime friend, Joan Prescott, of Rhode Island.
In addition to her parents, Marion and Betty Hoffman, she was preceded in death by her brother, Marion "Tom" Hoffman, Jr.; and her nephew, Thomas Hoffman.
Memorial donations may be made, in Sally's name, to the Frederick County Humane Society or charity of choice. Arrangements are private. Expressions of sympathy may be offered to the family at BastStaufferFuneralHome.com. Sarah Jane "Sally" Hoffman

Sarah was our neighbor. She was the sweetest person. I would walk my dog and see her out and we would talk for awhile. She needed a car battery in November and my husband helped her and installed it for her. She was the nicest person. My She rest in peace.
