Stephen LaChat Obituary

Mr. Stephen D. LaChat, 53, of Laytonsville, died Friday, Feb. 16, at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital, Rockville.

He was the husband of Jeannette P. Hoke LaChat.

Surviving in addition to his wife are three children, Justin, Nicole and Emily LaChat, all of Laytonsville; two brothers, Peter LaChat and wife Sharon of California, and Chris LaChat and wife Nancy of Kensington; five sisters-in-law; four brothers-in-law; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 20, at St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, 9250 Damascus Road, Damascus. A luncheon will be served immediately following in the church fellowship hall.

Interment will be private in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Rockville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Catholic Church Building Fund, 9250 Damascus Road, Damascus, Md. 20872.

Arrangements are by Olin L. Molesworth Funeral Home, Damascus.
