Thomas Clark Obituary

Thomas Franklin Clark, Sr., 60, of Burkittsville died suddenly Thursday, December 1 at his home. He was the husband of Mary Miller Clark.

Born in Frederick, August 29, 1945, he was a son of the late William Earl Clark and Mary Ida Clark Hengst, Brunswick.

He was a member of the American Legion, Brunswick; the Old Bay Outboard Motor Club and Outboard Motor Club of America.

Surviving besides his wife are one son, Thomas Franklin Clark, Jr. and wife Karen of Ridgeley, W.Va.; one daughter, Gayle Duffy and husband Christopher of Hagerstown; five grandchildren, Mary Elise Boswell Clark, Katherine Eve Clark, Thomas F. Clark III, Ethan Isiah Clark, and Sarah Nicole Duffy; and two sisters, Earlene Mae Hart of Frederick and Brenda Lee Boone of Taneytown.

The family will receive friends at the Donald B. Thompson Funeral Home, 31 E. Main St., Middletown on Sunday, December 4 from 3 to 5 p.m. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. on Monday, December 5 from the funeral home. Rev. Kimberly Nunberg, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Burkittsville, will officiate. Interment will be made in Union Cemetery, Burkittsville.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Burkittsville, MD 21718.
