Tom, Dorothy. Ray - I remember your dad sitting in the living room in Wolfsville working on a crossword puzzle. I remember him as cheerful (except for frustration with the crossword puzzle) and that his eyes were lively when we talked. He was always kind and I will never forget the compassionate hug he gave me when he found me crying in the hospital hallway when young Riley had the surgery on her skull. I am so sorry for your loss.

Tom was a lovely man and a wonderful neighbor. Both he and Nonie were an inspiration to all of us here on Laurel Ridge Rd. May he rest in peace.

Mrs Day - My condolences to you and the families on the loss of your husband, Tom.
I James Pope, was an Agriculture teacher at Gaithersburg HS. I worked with Donald Watkins in the Young adult Farmer Org at GHs. Maybe that is how I remember you and Tom.
Maybe it was when he was the assistant principal at Gaithersburg Jr. High. I taught one class of Ag to the 7th graders for one year, I believe. Either way ,my best to you .

Sincere condolences to Tom's wonderful family - he was one of the best! We are thankful for his tutelage re: propagating azaleas and rhodies - he was the best 'shovel man.' With love and respect, Joy and Don Beveridge

Funny memory of Uncle Tom, him trying to teach me to swim at a pool in Rockville, I was probably around six. Many years, later while reminiscing with Aunt Norma, she burst into laughter and informed me that he didn´t know how to swim. He was always entertaining when we visited!
