Bill was probably the best friend I ever had. I met him in1962 when he joined the staff at Shepherd College. My senior year at shepherd we lived next to each other and I even worked for him one summer. He also became a member of the business fraternity I belonged to, and we spent many an hour
with our brothers. We had a group that got together for dinner on Friday nights that extended over 30 years. This continued until November of last year.
I will always consider Bill to be the older brother I never had, and the best friend for 60 years. I will miss him terribly.
