Many years have gone by and every time I watch the Pittsburgh Penguins play hockey I remember Bill pay for my first ever hockey game. A whole $1.50 a seat. He had to talk me into going since we never followed hockey or even understood the game. Another sport he taught me a hooked me on.

Chris & Carlyn,
I am so sorry for your loss. I am an old friend of your father. We lost contact many years ago and I often thought about him. He was my best man 50 years ago and I was in your mother and father's wedding. We played every sport we could growing up and I spent many days and nights in his back yard and waiting for the postman to see if we got any baseball autographs. We even invented a baseball game with the cards and dice. Great times and good clean fun. He taught me everything about playing baseball and football. I sincerely regret not reaching out to him over the years. God bless and take good care of the cards, autographs and good memories.

I am sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I worked with Bill many years ago, rode with him in the van pool, and together we both belonged to the Jefferson Ruritan Club. He was a good friend.

Chris/Carlyn- So sorry to hear about the loss of your DAD. I can remember like it was yesterday playing soccer in the backyard, swimming and watching your Dad mow the grass.
