You were such a good man Bill. You gave me so much support and comfort growing up. I was shocked and devastated to hear of your passing. I thought you would always be there for mom because you always seemed invincible and full of health, love and life. I wish I could have been there with you in the end, to say thank you for all that you did for me growing up. Rest easy now Bill, the only place for someone like you with your strong beliefs would have to include a piece of paradise.
Save a spot for me dad

I am so sorry to just find out about Bill's passing. Bill lived in Middletown when I was growing up. He was a great neighbor and very fun. I learned a lot from him in the few years I lived "across the street."

This is terribly sad. Jacqueline, I haven't seen you in many years, but my thoughts are certainly with you and your family.

My sincere condolences. Billy and I first met at Frostburg State running the mile for time on day one of football practice. We came in one and two, he was a QB and I was a receiver, we clicked right away and became great friends. We then roomed together for two years (he had a great stereo and all the latest records), we were also fraternity brothers. Billy was always smiling and happy. He was a wonderful person and good friend to all. RIP Billy Rose.

My condolences to Billy and his family. We wernt to college together at Frostburg and had many good times with the 'burg gang. That was a long time ago and our paths have only crossed once or twice since then. But I will always remember Billy as a fun-loving guy with a big heart and an even bigger smile. I am sorry I didn't hear of his passing unitl after the services. Please know that I keep you all in my prayers. Cheri Gaver Poklemba

I knew Bill as a kid, growing up across the street from Connecticut Park Elementary School. He was two years younger, but a nice guy, good athlete, and great neighbor. My deepest sympathy goes out to Mrs. Rose, Kathy, Carol, and the entire Rose Family.

Heaven must have a larger plan for you my friend. My heart is so very heavy for Barb and the family right now. This time last year, I worked as their agent to sell their Hagerstown home. We were working through contract negotiations this time last year. We had know each other casually for several years. I was blessed to get to know both Bill, and Barb so much better during those months. Our main focus was to sell their home, so that they could start to enjoy their retirement. Bill was always funny and upbeat...even on days when he could have been a total grump!! His smile could light up a room!! Rest in peace sir.....your job here is done, and I just know if you were taken from this earth, there is a big job for you to do up in heaven!! Some angels never get to retire...they just get relocated where they are most needed. You will be missed Bill!

I remember Bill as a friend and colleague that also made time for those around him. Even if he was busier than you could understand, he always made certain to connect with you if you needed some of his time at work. He was "the authority" on his professional responsibilities and his diligence and dedication was amazing. He was planning and building his retirement to be with his family of which he spoke often. I hope he was able to enjoy some of his retirement time before passing.

Bill, you are and will be missed by everyone who's life you touched. Thank you for touching mine.
