Matthew always spoke so kindly of Xia. He would tell us how funny she was and how positive her attitude remained even during difficult times. She was beautiful both inside and out and surely touched so many with her beaming smile. May it bring you peace to know she is your Guardian Angel and is always at your side both on bright days and through dark ones. She is with you always in your hearts and may fond memories keep her spirit alive every day until you are together again. Prayers for Xia and your entire family.

Xia was such an inspiration to me. I have known her growing up from church. People keep mentioning her smile, and it truly was beautiful. I remember during confirmation retreat we shared a bunk, she was on the bottom. She was so excited to be there, and she was enveloped in the holy spirit the whole weekend. Seeing her beautiful self at confirmation last week was truly a gift.

Xia had the most amazing smile and personality. She was incredibly strong. She always brightened my day when I would see her in the halls at WMS. She never made excuses and never wanted people to feel sorry for her. She will be missed greatly.

I met Xia through band in middle school. One of the first things I noticed about her was her positive attitude and determination. She was a true fighter who never gave up, regardless of the obstacles that crossed her path. I will never forget the kindness she displayed to everyone she met. While I never got to know her too well, she always took the time to say "hi" and be kind to me. Even around a year and a half later, when we both ran into each other at Hopkins (I had been going to a different school and had not see her since eighth grade), she still greeted me with a smile. Thank you for raising an amazing, inspirational and truly beautiful young lady. While my time with her was relatively short, I will never forget the lessons of joy and determination she taught me.

What an amazing lady she was. Her smile radiated the room. Her courage to try things when things looked bleak, was inspirational. Nothing seemed to stop her from trying. The world was truly blessed, if only for a short time. Thank you for allowing us to be part of her life. Heaven has been given a beautiful angel. Keeping you and your family in my prayers.

May the Son be always present in your lives to comfort and encourage you. Our prayers will remain with you today and always.
