U.S. Air Force veteran and Grand Forks, N.D. resident, Charles Cecil "Chuck" Randall, passed peacefully in the presence of family on Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016, at The Denver Hospice in Colorado at the age of 69.
Born and raised in Quantico, Charles moved to North Dakota in 1966 and married JuniKae Parisien in 1967 in Belcourt, N.D. He graduated from the University of North Dakota in 1973 with a degree in business administration.
Over the course of his career, Charles worked diligently to make a difference for his family and for the American Indian people. Charles was recognized as a dynamic business consultant and worked closely with tribes around the country to boldly create economic development opportunities. He was highly regarded for his entrepreneurial spirit and passion for Indian Country as an enrolled tribal member of the Patawomeck Indian Tribe of Virginia.
He is survived by his wife, JuniKae Parisien-Randall; daughters Juliet Randall and Suzanne Randall-Stangeland, both of Denver, Colo.; sons-in-law Brendan Marcum and Mark Stangeland, both of Denver, Colo.; grandchildren Amelia Marcum (12), Matthew Stangeland (8), Charlie Stangeland (4) and Eleanor Stangeland (4); and siblings Dorothy, Jean, Joyce, Sherwood, Gerald, Patsy, Kathleen and Jim.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sherwood Lee Randall and Fannie Sullivan Randall; sister Betty Ann Carter; his in-laws, Norman "Tom" Parisien and Mabel Rose Parisien; and Granddaddy John Thomas Randall.
Holy Mass will be celebrated at noon Friday, April 22, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Triangle. A reception will follow the service.
Burial with military honors will take place at 1 p.m. Friday, May 27, in St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, N.D.
