Dennis W. Hooten
Dennis Wyatt Hooten, 56, of Fredericksburg died Friday, March 16, 2007, at Mary Washington Hospital.
Dennis was born June 27, 1950, in Front Royal, the son of Barbara Barraclough Hooten of Fredericksburg and the late Charles Edwards Hooten.
He was a technical writer for the Department of Defense and later for Department of Defense contractors. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
Dennis was a 1968 graduate of James Monroe High School and a 1983 graduate of Mary Washington College.
Surviving with his mother are three brothers, Joseph H. Hooten of Belleville, Ill., and W. David Hooten and Brian E. Hooten, both of Fredericksburg; and a sister, Barbie H. Beck of Fort Bragg, Calif.
Maddox Funeral Home, Front Royal, is handling the arrangements, which will be private.
A gathering for family and friends will be held Monday, March 26, in Fredericksburg.
