Fannie M. Scott
Fannie M. Scott, 105, of King George County died Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2003, at Mary Washington Hospital.
Born in Stafford County, she was a homemaker all her life and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in King George. She was the widow of Wesley T. Scott.
Survivors include five daughters, Myrtle Johnson of Baltimore, Ruth Perryman of Ottumwa, Iowa, Violet Saunders of Reedville, Sue Northern of Gray, Tenn., and Thelma Archer of Colonial Heights; a son, Gusty Scott of King George; 25 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; and 23 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Rosa Hamilton; and four sons, John, Slaughter, William and James Scott.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 31, at Nash & Slaw Funeral Home, King George, with the Rev. William Bragdon officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Baptist Church cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
