Francis Rieman

1951 - 2025

Born on March 15, 1951, Francis Edward Rieman lived a life defined by devotion-to his family, his work, and the simple joys that made life meaningful. He passed away on December 29, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, steadiness, and quiet generosity that continues to shape all who knew him.

A gifted student, he attended Villanova University, where he graduated early, before continuing on to Georgetown University Dental School. It was there that he met Terry, the love of his life. They were married for forty-seven years, building a partnership rooted in deep respect, laughter, and unwavering commitment.

Together they raised three beautiful daughters-Becky, Mandy, and Abby-of whom he was endlessly proud. His greatest joy was his family, a joy multiplied by a growing gaggle of grandchildren who brought him immeasurable happiness.

He found peace riding his tractor, contentment in the presence of family, and particular delight in Friday night pizza nights. His heart was especially soft for rescue dogs, a reflection of his own kindness and belief in second chances.

Above all, he was a man who showed love through presence, reliability, and care. His life made others better-stronger, kinder, and more grounded. We are better because of him, and his memory lives on in the traditions, values, and love he leaves behind.

In memory of Dr. Rieman a Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church at 1 p.m., January 7th. Interment to follow at Laurel Hill Funeral Home.
