Ginger Graves Chadduck passed through the Gates of Heaven on April 5, 2018. She is survived by her adoring husband, Dr. William M. Chadduck; her parents, Cecil A. Graves and Mary J. Graves; by two brothers, Garry A. Graves and R. Glenn Graves; by two nieces; and numerous cousins. Ginger was a remarkable lady: a graduate summa cum laude of Germanna Community College and a senior student in the Historic Preservation Program at the University of Mary Washington. A Jill of all trades, she was able to create beauty in her gardens, cook gourmet creations and master the chores of maintaining a historic property. She won ribbons for her entries at the annual Fairs, medals for winning many 5K runs, and enjoyed the challenges of playing tennis. She served faithfully in her church for many years and was active in the Montpelier chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. All who knew her loved her dearly for her vivacity, her helpful ways and her unassuming presence. A beautiful person, Ginger will be missed by so many whose lives she touched. A "Remembering Ginger" memorial is being planned for family and friends.

This is so shocking to me!
I will certainly miss seeing that spring in her step that she had while enjoying walks and runs over the countryside. And the friendly waves and sweet smiles she would give when she saw me driving down the back roads. Just to see her vitality gave me a lift. She is already missed. My condolences to her family.
With Peace and Love,
Danah (her mail lady)

God received an angel yesterday morning. Her beautiful voice is a wonderful addition to the choir of angels. We miss you, but know you have no pain or tears in heaven. Our prayers are with Bill, Glen, and her parents.
