Harrison Nave Obituary
Harrison I. Nave, Jr., 83, of Fredericksburg passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Bowling Green Health and Rehabilitation.
Mr. Harrison Nave, Jr. proudly served in the military for 20 years in both the U.S. Army and the Airforce. He met his wife of 64 years, Anneliese, while stationed in Germany. Harrison was a master carpenter and Housing Inspector for Dahlgren. Harrison loved to fish, hunt, and taking trips to Charles Town with his wife. He will be deeply missed.
Survivors include his children, Gabriele Schoppaul (Michael), Harry I. Nave, Tammy Smith (Kevin), and Robert Nave, Sr.; grandchildren Corey, Ryan and Cara Foosness, Kevin Nave, Craig Stiles, Justin Smith, Robert Nave, Jr., Michael Conner Nave, and Courtney Nave; 14 great-grandchildren; siblings Joan Nave, Denny Loving, and Linda Richardson; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anneliese Nave; son Heinz "George" Knerr Nave; brother Larry Nave; father Harrison I. Nave, Sr.; and mother Ella Estrada.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, May 24, 2021 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg, 4801 Jefferson Davis Hwy Fredericksburg, VA 22408. A service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Quantico National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
