James Loving Obituary

James Loving III

James Loving III, 47, of Spotsylvania, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025, at UVA Medical Center.

James was a general foreman with Asplundh and was known for his strong work ethic. He had a passion for auctions and flea markets, always on the lookout for unique finds. James had a deep love for Tennessee, a place he dreamed of calling home, and he honored that love each summer with a trip and a new tattoo-an annual tradition that brought him great joy.

A fan of horror movies and video games, James embraced the fun and thrill of life's darker corners with a smile. He will be remembered for his vibrant personality, his love for the little things, and the warmth he brought to those around him.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Loving; children, Nicole Loving, James Loving IV, Candy "Turtle" Loving, Cristal Cooper, Cory Cooper, Angelica Rivera, Brittney Rivera, and Cayle Arnold; numerous grandchildren; parents, James Loving Jr. and Nancy Loving; and his maternal grandparents, Ed and Faye Carneal.

A service will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
