Jane (Fritter) Bryant

Sadly, our beloved, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Jane Bryant (Fritter), 72, passed away on December 15, 2024, after battling a rare and aggressive cancer. Jane was born on November 1, 1952, to Lindbergh and Edna Fritter in Stafford, VA, where she grew up with her younger sisters, Wendy Carey (Fritter) and Patricia Olsen-Wyatt (Fritter). She is survived by her husband, Michael; her daughter, Michelle and son-in-law Mike; her son, Daniel and daughter-in-law Amy; her stepson, Jeff and daughter-in-law Mai; and stepdaughter Sarah. Her memory lives on with her 12 grandchildren, Megan, Madison, Sonya, Sarah, Ethan, Helo, Alex, Jacob, Rohan, Cody, Charlee, and Brendan.

Jane enjoyed her life, family, friends, and the holidays. Her home was always festively decorated, especially around Christmas. She proudly displayed several trees that were adorned with the many ornaments that she collected over the years. She found joy in preparing meals around the holidays, with her crab cakes, corn pudding, and mac and cheese being family favorites. She loved to travel - her favorite places were the Outer Banks of North Carolina, where decades of family memories were made, and the islands of Hawaii, especially Maui and Kauai. She loved to read and devoured as many books as she possibly could. Jane will be greatly missed, but she will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. We will always remember and love her!

Visitation/viewing will take place at Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home, 4143 Dale Blvd., Woodbridge, VA 22193 beginning at 10 a.m. December 30th, to be followed by a service at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Together Women Rise .
