Joanna Kleppinger Obituary

Joanna G. Kleppinger

Joanna G. Kleppinger passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 16, 2024.

Joanna was born and raised just outside of Buffalo, NY. Her fondest childhood memories were made alongside her sister, "Bunny," and her family while spending time at her grandmother's farm.

Joanna and her husband, Ron, loved to travel together and spent time living overseas in the early years of their marriage. They made their permanent home in Fredericksburg where they raised two sons, and where Joanna was proud to have served her community working for the Rappahannock United Way and Spotsylvania County Fire Rescue and Emergency Management. Joanna was interested in the world and loved travel, music, and the outdoors (especially the beach). Later in life, she took the restoration of her grandmother's farm to heart as a commemoration of her sister's memory. Joanna was successful and driven in her professional life, but she is remembered most for her loving devotion as a wife, mother, and grandmother. She cherished times spent with her family and is dearly missed.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Ron Kleppinger; sons Michael Kleppinger (Melissa) and John Kleppinger; and grandsons, Walker Kleppinger and Lawson Kleppinger.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Rappahannock United Way.
