You were a great MTE instructor. I'll never forget "Simplify before you multiply", that rap helped me when I was taking MTE 3 algebra, and MTE 4. I laugh when I think about you sitting at the computer in the tutoring center, telling Ann Lyons you were "Working your Doctorate Degree", when you were really playing solitaire. I thought about you and that joke while I was earning my MBA from Strayer. I know I'll see again brother Gill.
Thanks Mr. Gill, your favorite students, Brandon Woodson.

We remember Jack in the only way we ever saw him - smiling and happy. His happiness was infectious. We have so many wonderful memories of our times together at the ballet, the dinner theater, and dinners out. Our deepest condolences and prayers for you, Susan. We love you both, our dearest friends.

Jack Gill touched the lives of so many students through his direct teaching, a friendly smile in the hallway, and in hiring many many instructors who he mentored. Jack's sometimes (or maybe a little more than sometimes) bad jokes always resulted in a good laugh and a "Geeze Jack". He was always the life of our parties and the heart of our work. Lots of love to the family, may you find peace and strength from all the great memories you have! Patricia Parker (former Germanna Math Faculty)

Jack was a wonderful person. He had a kind spirit and loving heart. He gave me my start at Germanna Community College as an adjunct instructor when he was the department chair back in 2008. Jack always had a math joke ready to help make anyone's day. He was a caring instructor and I learned a lot from him during his last few years at the college. He will be greatly missed. RIP Jack.

I had the opportunity to work with Jack for several years at Germanna. Our offices were next door to one another. He loved our students and always had a smile for everyone. Heaven has certainly gained a wonderful angel.

What a great guy Jack was. I worked with him at Germanna and he always had funny little jokes to share. My favorite that I often share is he said if we saw him at the airport, we couldn't say Hi. I said oh why and he said "think about it, Hi-Jack". I hope this small memory makes you smile. Lifting your family up in prayer.

I have fond memories of my cousin, Jack, and will always remember him as an affable and very thoughtful person. My mother, his Aunt Evelyn Gill Breazeale, raved over the way Jack went out of his way to host her on a trip to Germany many years ago. Rest well, cousin.

You were my second father, and I was grateful my kiddos could call you Grampa. You will be greatly missed.
The kids talk about your jokes regularly, and it makes me smile that your memory will continue on and on.
We were blessed with more family vacations then we deserved and enjoyed every day we got to spend together on the 'farm'. So many wonderful memories that we will cherish forever. We love you so very much!
Rest in peace, and we look forward to seeing you again.
Love, Kassia and Jesse, Zebedee, Miridia, Ke'koa, and Azariah.
