Kenneth Smith

July 15, 1948 - August 14, 2025

Kenneth James Smith, 77, of Milford, died Thursday, August 14, 2025, at his home. Born in Washington, DC. He retired after 26 years as a police officer for the U S Park Service. He was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church. He loved deer hunting and gardening. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Pamela Hawke Smith; a son, Gene Smith and his wife, Donna Smith; a brother, John Smith and his wife, Sue; and three grandsons, Dylan Smith, Nathan Smith, and Jacob Smith. He is also survived by a sister-in-law, Audrey; two nephews, Jason and Jonathan; and a niece, Jessica. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shiloh UMC, c/o John Carroll Broaddus, 25015 Mattaponi Trail, Milford, VA, 22514.

A visitation will be held from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Sunday, August 24, 2025, at Shiloh UMC, 24110 Mattaponi Trail, Milford, VA 22514. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. at the church.
