William Larry Emory Sr., 77, of King George County passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Mary Washington Hospital. Larry was born Tuesday, August 29, 1939 in Washington, D.C. to the late John Paul Emory Sr. and Helen Virginia Oliver Emory. Larry served his country in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Federal Masonic Lodge in Washington, D.C. He retired from Westminster at Lakeridge as a mechanical engineer.
Larry is survived by his wife of nearly 54 years, Martha Anne "Marty" Emory; son William Larry Emory Jr. (LeMoyne); daughter Belynda Jarboe (John); brother John Paul Emory Jr.; grandchildren Rebecca Jarboe, Tyler Emory, Jake Jarboe and Megan Emory.
At Larry's request there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: King George Animal Rescue League, P.O. Box 1003, Dahlgren, VA 22448. Condolences may be left for the family at storkefuneralhome.com.
