Marilyn Marsden Obituary
Marilyn Joan Marsden, 96, of Fredericksburg passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at home under hospice care.
Survivors include her children, Paul Dewey Marsden of Fredericksburg, Elizabeth Ann Richter of Pickens, WV, Susan Marie Gill of Spotsylvania, and David Scott Marsden of Grasonville, MD; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and siblings Dolores Matheny Dikkers and Don Matheny.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Rev. Paul Donald Marsden (2017) of Roaring Spring, PA; and sister Betty Ann Matheny Price.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Church of the Messiah. Interment will be at a later date in Greenlawn Cemetery, Roaring Spring, PA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Spotsylvania Fire & Rescue.
