Michael Ray Blevins

Michael Ray Blevins, 65, left this world on March 2, 2023.

Mike was kind, thoughtful, and helpful to anyone who was fortunate enough to know him. He was extremely intelligent and would fix absolutely anything for anyone. Mike was also a phenomenal guitarist and his passion was progressive rock. He cared deeply for any creature on the planet.

Michael is survived by his uncles, Richard Cox of Fallston, Md., Thomas Cox and Wayne Cox (Rhonda) of King George; his aunts, Bonnie Reynolds of Colonial Beach, and Gloria Cox of King George; and numerous cousins,. He is also survived by his closest friends, Gregg and Michelle Woolf of Falmouth along with their children, Rachel Monk (Ricky), and Christopher Woolf; and granddaughters, Alice and Rosie Monk.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marjorie Ann and Leonard Lake Blevins.

Mike's family will receive friends from 10 until 11 a.m. Thursday, March 16, 2023, at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Gary Limbrick officiating. Burial will be held 12 noon in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Michael had a strong love for animals and therefore, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the SPCA or Humane Society.

We will always remember you and your sense of humor, musical talent, kindness, love for your kitties and all animals. You were always so kind remembering those that were already in heaven and we will always remember you. You were so smart and handy and could always be counted on to fix everything at Michelle and Gregg's. All of the holidays and family events at Michelle and Gregg's will never be the same, with the empty chair left by your absence. To Michael's friends and family,

He and I corresponded from time to time on Ancestry.com and we had many ancestors in common. He was always ready to help and share any information he was able to give. What a nice guy. I was sorry to see his passing.

Michael was truly our closest friend on the planet and was always considered as a family member. There are not enough words to express the sorrow in our hearts for such a great soul. He will be missed every day, but his spirit will carry on. Goodbye for now, brother Michael.
