Michael P. Stoll
Michael Preston "Mike" Stoll, 69, of Lake of the Woods at Locust Grove died at his residence Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2007.
Born May 26, 1937, in Beaver, Pa., he was the son of the late Pete and Agnes Preston Stoll. He also was predeceased by a brother, John Stoll.
Survivors include his wife, Carol A. Stoll of Lake of the Woods; a son, Scott Stoll of Fredericksburg; a daughter, Christine Stoll of Florida; two stepsons, Capt. Douglas R. Menders of Stafford County and Daniel P. Menders of Pedricktown, N.J.; two stepdaughters, Susan L. Levin of Mount Laurel, N.J., and Karen L. Menders of Fredericksburg; a brother, Marty Stoll of Lake of the Woods; and his grandchildren, Zachary, Paul, Austin, Michelle, Hunter, Alex, Ashley, Calib, Joshua and Jacob.
A celebration of life service will be held Monday, Feb. 12, at 11 a.m. at The Lake of the Woods Church, with a reception to follow. The Rev. Tom Schafer will officiate. Interment will be in Culpeper National Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Michael Stoll's name to Lake of the Woods Fire & Rescue, 104 Lakeview Parkway, Locust Grove, Va. 22508.
