Millicent Esther Tyler, 62, of Baltimore, Md., passed on to glory on Sunday, April 2, 2017, at the home of her brother in Caroline County, Va.
Millicent was reared in Caroline County, graduating from Ladysmith High School in 1972. After finishing Boston University in 1976, Millicent began her career in television news reporting. She worked in Savannah, Ga., and Charleston, W. Va., and later in the D.C. and Baltimore markets.
She became an attorney in 1991 and practiced law in Baltimore, Md., until retirement in 2015.
A homegoing service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 6, 2017, at Beulah Baptist Church, 5216 Arcadia Rd, Woodford, Va. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the church.
