Ronald Adron Cropp, 61, of Fredericksburg, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Mr. Cropp was a member of the Fredericksburg Elks Lodge #875 for 19 years and of the Eagles Lodge #4123 for 18 years. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and spending time with his family. Mr. Cropp was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Linda S. Cropp of Fredericksburg; son Richard Cropp and wife Susan of Fredericksburg; two daughters, Rhonda Snider and husband Larry of Tennessee and Cindy Deane and husband Marty of Fredericksburg; grandchildren Ryan, Emily, Cameron, Alexis, Laney, Kelsie, Justin and Katie; his mother, Virginia Cropp of Fredericksburg; brothers Steve Cropp and Michael Gill, both of Fredericksburg; sisters Pam Jandrosits, Sandra Farmer and Patricia Martin, all of Fredericksburg, and Janet Riddell of Louisiana; and his beloved dog, Dyce. He was preceded in death by his father, Adron Cropp; brother Clyde Cropp; and sister Lynda Sousa.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 28 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.
A service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Ct., Glen Allen, VA 23060
