Ruth A. Bress
Ruth Ann Bress of Bethesda, Md., died Saturday, April 19, 2008.
She was the beloved wife of the late Henry Brass; devoted mother of Toni Lee Blate and her husband, Sam, of Gaithersburg, Md., and Lou Ann Barnwell and her husband, William, of Rockville, Md.; beloved sister of Max Klotz of Fredericksburg; and grandmother of Alex B. Blate, Sarah Ruth Barnwell, Andrew Henry Blate, Elizabeth Ann Barnwell and Michael William Barnwell.
A graveside service will be held in Arlington National Cemetery on Friday, May 2, at 9 a.m. Attendees should arrive at 8:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation or American Cancer Society.
Arrangements are by Joseph Gawler's Sons Funeral Home in Washington, D.C.
