Thomas McGuigan Obituary
Sergeant Major Thomas L. McGuigan, Jr., USMC Retired, of Colonial Beach, Virginia, died on August 13, 2023 at the age of 80. He was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1960 and served for 26 years including service in the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene Brabant McGuigan, and his children Christian, Rocky (Kerry), Kelly (Kevin), Susan, and Ginny (Bruce), eleven grandchildren and eleven greatgrandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Monday, August 21, 2023 at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg where funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. John Hodgen officiating. Interment will follow at Quantico National Cemetery.
Contributions in lieu of flowers can be sent to Marine Corps Heritage Fund, 1775 Semper Fidelis Way, Triangle, VA 22172, or St Jude Children's Research Fund, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
