Virginia Williams Obituary

Virginia P. Williams

Virginia Pauline Williams, 80, of Spotsylvania County passed away Friday, Feb. 19, 2010, at Mary Washington Hospital.

Pauline was a member of Salem Baptist Church and the Pillars of Salem. She was a big NASCAR fan.

Pauline is survived by her two sons, Gary N. Williams and his wife, Beverly, of Spotsylvania and Kevin D. Williams and his wife, Anna, of Locust Grove; four sisters, Lillian Barfield, Joanne McDaniels, Judy Shoop and Beverly Williams; two brothers, Virgil and Alva Pauley; four grandsons, Evan, Nicholas, Andreas and Alexander; two granddaughters, Jennifer and Melissa A. Toombs; one great-grandson, Perry Lee Arrington Jr.; and one great-granddaughter- on-the-way, Hailey A. Toombs. She also leaves behind her faithful Sheltie, Corky.

Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood J. Williams Sr., and one son, Elwood J. Williams Jr.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, at Found & Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Services, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 25, at the funeral chapel with the Rev. Randy Allensworth officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
