Walter Rouse Obituary

Walter R. Rouse

Walter R. Rouse, 86, of Fredericksburg, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, March 2, 2025. He was the son of the late Ebbie and Marion Rouse.

Walter was a retired veteran of the Virginia Army National Guard and he retired from NSCW Dahlgren.

Walter leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 58 years, Carol; children, Cheryl, Kelly, and Rick; sister, Sue Haynes; brothers, Jack (Freida) and Roger (Susan); four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, David; and brother, William.

A service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home chapel. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
