Charles is survived by his wife Kay Eckhardt; children Kayla Sanchez and husband Pablo, Sheree Burrow, Darren Eckhardt and wfe Robyn; 4 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; siblings Helen Eckhardt, Gladys Friedrich and husband Dale and Denise Eckhardt
Funeral services were held Monday, October 20th, in the chapel of Fredericksburg Funeral Home.
Graveside services followed in Greenwood Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, St. Mary's School Endowment Fund, Gillespie 4H, or the charity of one's choice.
