George Flintom Obituary
A celebration of his life is planned at a later date.
Arrangements and cremation were under the direction of Fredericksburg Funeral Home.
Flintom was born Feb. 21, 1943, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, to George Flintom and Frances McSwain Flintom. He married Mary Groves in 1962 and she survives.
In addition to his wife, Flintom is survived by two sons, Scott Flintom of Phoenix, Arizona and Robert Flintom and wife Carrie of San Diego, California; three grandchildren; a sister, Betty Hope Buttler and brother, Blair Flintom.
Flintom was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Bob Flintom.
Memorials may be made to Methodist Hill Country Hospice, Alzheimer's Association, The Good Samaritan Center or charity of choice.
