He participated in several professional organizations, the Saddle and Sirloin Club, and five intramural sports teams.
Todd held various summer jobs, including working at the peach sheds, for his uncle at Hill Country Refrigeration, and for Walter Building and Supply in construction. The best stories were of the long, hot days of custom hay hauling with his friends where they gathered and stored more than 80,000 bales.
After college, he began his career in real estate by working for 7 years as a Commercial Staff Appraiser with Mazuk Valuation and Consulting where he earned his MAI Designation from the Appraisal Institute. In 2007, Todd moved his family to Fredericksburg so that he could work with his parents in their real estate business. He worked as an Associate Broker for CC Herber Co., Real Estate until the time of his death. He found his calling in this field and especially loved helping clients buy and sell ranches. He received the Realtor of the Year award in 2017 from the Central Hill Country Board of Realtors.

Todd enjoyed coaching his children in their various sports, hunting, watching the Battlin' Billies, ranch work with his brothers, church, visiting with friends, vacationing with his family and being outside whenever possible. He was an Aggie to his core and loved following A&M sports, especially Aggie football. His laugh was contagious and his spirit kind. If he knew you, you were his friend. He will be missed more than words can express.
