Carolyn Dulin Obituary
Metamora - Carolyn Dulin of Metamora, formerly of Rochester passed away August 19, 2018. Beloved mother of Roy and grandmother of Ashley, Shelby, Jamie, Riley, Rorey, and Andy. Survived by her supportive ex-husband, Frank (Francis H.). Born February 5, 1932 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Ralph House and Lillian Isler. Carolyn was predeceased by her brother Leland. She was a graduate of the Cranbrook Academy of Art with an MFA in 1960 and of Ohio Wesleyan University with a BA and a BFA in 1954. She was a professional artist working in clay and had a long career creating unique stoneware wall pieces, custom ceramics for residential and public places, and sculptural figures with tapestries of multicolored porcelain. She was active with the Oakland Township Historical Society. A memorial tribute will be held at the Cranberry Lake Farms, a township park, at a later date to be announced by Modetz Funeral Home, Orion.
