- - July 9, 2018. Loving husband of the late Eunice. Dear father of Karen Zech (Brian), E.J. (Tara Johnson) and David (Julie). Dearest Papa of Andrea, Dan, Kayla, Alec, Noah, and Nate. Cherished Pappou of Callan, Sydney, and Blakely. Brother of Thomas (Gloria). Family will receive friends Thursday 5-8 p.m. and Friday 1-8 p.m. at A.J. Desmond & Sons Funeral Home, 2600 Crooks Rd (Between Maple and Big Beaver), 248-362-2500. Funeral Service Saturday 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church of Birmingham, 1589 W. Maple Rd. Visitation at church begins at 10:30 a.m. Memorial tributes suggested to Wayne State University for the Eunice and Edward J. Pappas Endowed Scholarship for Excellence in Communication.
