I know I'm late in leaving this message but I just found out about the professor's passing. I graduated from Cooley in 2001. I loved professor Glicksman, he was my favorite professor. I took one of his classes and enjoyed it very much, so I ended up taking two more classes from him before graduating. The ethics and professional responsibility he taught me will never be forgotten.

I was just in the car remembering an old scene from law school to a friend. It was about obtaining evidence in a certain manner and the people used to explain this were 2 fictional characters Mr. grey coat and Mrs scarf (who also played a lady of the night in other scenarios)but after reflecting on how I learned this crucial piece of evidence law , I started to remember all the evidence I learned from this man. I decided to google him to see if he was still teaching , only to learn of his death. He was truly one of the best teachers I ever had ...from grade school to law school. We haven't talked in years and he may not remember me but I will always remember him. rest in peace sir.

I just learned of Elliot's passing which was reported in the current Michigan Bar Journal. Although I have not seen him since grade school, I well remember Elliot as a great kid who apparently foreshadowed the Mentsch he became. May his memory be for a blessing.

Elliott was a special friend and fellow alumnus of the University of Detroit Law School, class of 1969.
His intensity and excitement were infectious, and I was fortunate to be able to stay in touch with him over the years, albeit from Denver.
My condolences to his family.

Thea,
I was so sorry to learn of Elliot's death. Elliot and l were close friends during our law school years. Along with Richard Bogdanski, we formeda study group that saw us through three years of study plus the bar exam in 1969.
Eliott was a dedicated intellectual and idealistic citizen. He was truly devoted to his teaching. He was the very best kind of attorney. I admired him and will miss knowing he is there.
