GILBERT Age 92, November 14, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth. Loving father of Barbara (Jim) Kobberstad, Anne (Jim) Bolz, Gary (Judy) Hamel, Judy (John) Line and Kenny Hamel. Dearest grandfather of Karl Kobberstad, Kelly Koberstad, Nicholas Bolz, Samantha Bolz, Stephen Hamel, Claire Hamel, Andrew Hamel, Zachary Line and Shannon Line. Dear brother of Lorraine Ayling, Edward (Phyllis) Hamel and the late Madeline Burdick. Mr. Hamel served in the Army Air Force during WWII. Visitation Friday 5 - 8 p.m. at Weise Funeral Home, 7210 Park Ave., Allen Park, MI 48101. Memorial Mass Saturday 10 a.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 9000 Laurence, Allen Park. Visiting will begin at 9:30 a.m. at Church. Memorial contributions can be made to the Michigan Parkinson Foundation or the Gary Sinise Foundation to help support Veterans and their families.
