Detroit - Jerome "Buck" Jerzy, age 83, passed away September 30, 2018. Buck was the beloved husband of Paula; loving father of Debee, Jeffrey (Theresa), David (Liza), and the late Douglas; devoted grandfather of Ryan, Joshua, Kyle, Charlie, and Molly; dear brother of Michael (Barbara) and the late Dennis; brother-in-law of Marge Guerin; and past husband of Patricia. In-state Thursday, October 4, from 10:30 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at Holy Cross (Hungarian) Catholic Church, 8423 South Street, Detroit, Michigan. Donations in his name may be made to the American Diabetes Association (www.diabetes.org): Arrangements entrusted to Wessels & Wilk Funeral Home, Pleasant Ridge, Michigan. www.wesselsandwilk.com

RIP BUCK, HE HAD A GREAL DEAL OF ADMIRERS FROM ALL WALKS OF LIFE. EVEN THOUGH I HAVEN'T SEEN BUCK IN YEARS, I OFTEN REMEMBERED HIS KINDNESS AND FUN THAT HE WE ALL SHARED BECAUSE OF HIM. HE TOOK ME UNDER HIS WING AS I FINISHED UP AT MSU AND PLAYED SOFTBALL AND MENS FOOTBALL WITH HIS CREW OF FRIENDS. BUCK HAD MANY ADMIRERS AND I CERTAINLY WAS ONE OF THEM. MY CONDOLENCES GO OUT TO HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

I worked with Buck for many years of my life. Quite an interesting person, and always had a zest for the assorted organizations to which he belonged. This is a loss for all who knew him.
