John Dlugosh Obituary
Almont, West Branch, Warren, & Detroit, - 73, died, Feb. 21, 2018. Born May 24, 1944 to Jerry and Alexandria (MacDonald) Garlow and grew up in Detroit, graduating Cody High School. Served in the Marines during the Vietnam War. A life member of the Dearborn Heights VFW #7546 and Livonia DAV #114 and belonged to the Knights of Columbus. Worked in sheet metal work, a member of Sheet Metal Workers Local #80. He was a Wayne County Sheriff deputy.
Married wife Darlene (Rulason) Nov. 9, 2016. Survived by wife Darlene Dlugosh of Almont; daughters Karen (Chris) Vautrin of Westwood, NJ, Kimberly (Luis) Cappellaro of Macomb & Kristie (David) Ormachea of Washington; grandchildren Marino, Danielle, Anthony, Lorenzo and Dante; and extended family Melissa Oaks of Linwood, Mandy (Brad) Ryals of Holly, Mindy (Mug) Lin of Lynnwood (Washington) and Matt (Rochelle) Staley of Grand Rapids, and their children Jacie, Miley, Colten, Mason, Merek, Abby, Jorden and Elijah.
Family will receive friends Sunday, Feb. 25, 2018, 2 PM until the 3 PM Memorial Service at Muir Brothers Funeral Home (138 South Main - Almont, MI) Donations Michigan Humane Society 3600 Auburn Rd-Rochester Hills, MI 48309. Guestbook www.MuirBrothersFuneralHome.com
