Roland Crosby Obituary
Roland Cortez Crosby, 84, passed away on March 11, 2021. Roland was a dedicated employee of Chrysler Corporation for 27 years with an impeccable reputation for displaying hard-work and integrity. After he retired in June 1991, he passionately made serving the Barton-McFarland community his life's mission. He will be missed by many but especially his children Adrienne, Rochelle, Michelle, Ayhanna, Rowland, and Michael. A strolling visitation will be held at O.H. Pye, III Funeral Home on Friday, March 19th at 5pm-8pm with a virtual service on Saturday, March 20th at 10am go to YOUTUBE.com type in "Homegoing Service for Rowland Crosby".

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Crosby but joyfully remembered and was grateful that I had the chance to work with him at Barton McFarlane Neighborhood Association. I knew him as a man you could count on, dedicated to family and community. I will remember his love of jazz, joy for life, sense of humor, and commitment to make things better.

I´m so sorry to hear of Mr. Crosby´s passing. Sending love and prayers to the Crosby family. Ayhanna, thank you for sharing your dad. He was such a gem. He treated us all like we were family. So many fond memories from high school of him driving us wherever we wanted or needed to go. Rest well sir.
