Barbara J. "B.J." Grubb, 36, of Fremont died Monday, Feb. 21, 2005, at her home.
She was born Jan. 30, 1969, in Fremont. She grew up in Fremont and was a 1987 graduate of Fremont High School. She previously was employed by the former Hinky Dinky Grocery Store in Fremont, at the Sale Barn Saloon in Fremont and for the Fremont Tribune.
She married Dan Grubb on Jan. 19, 1995, in Fremont.
She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Fremont. She was a former member of the Fremont Women's Bowling Association.
Survivors include: her husband; a son, Cody Grubb; and two daughters, Amanda Long and Deborah Long, all at home; her mother, Deloris Davis of Fremont; her father and stepmother, Eldon and Shelly Davis of Fremont; two brothers, Steve (and wife, Nancy) Davis of Hooper and Bill (and wife, Lisa) Davis of Fremont; four sisters, Janice Menking of Fremont, Jackie Twohig of Albion, Susan (Mrs. Sam) Reardon of St. Edward and Kathi Callaway of Fremont; a stepbrother, Chad (and wife, Deb) Obermiller of Warrensburg, Mo.; and a stepsister, Rochelle (Mrs. Tommy) McDonald of Fremont.
The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont with the Rev. Anjanette Rist of First Lutheran Church in Fremont officiating. Visitation will be from 2-9 p.m. Wednesday and 9-10:30 a.m. Thursday with the family receiving friends from 6:30-8 p.m. Wednesday, all at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery in Fremont.
Memorials may be given to an education fund for her children.
