Charlotte A. Mohr, 75, of Fremont died Saturday, Oct. 2, 2004, at her home.
She was born Aug. 27, 1929, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, to Joseph and Charlotte (Young) Fisher. She grew up in North Bend and moved to Fremont in 1948, and lived in the area all her life. She previously was a nurse's aid at the former McBride Nursing Home in Fremont. She did custodial work at the Dodge County Courthouse in Fremont for 28 years and part time at Davenport School and Magnus Metals.
She married Achiel Mohr on Sept. 26, 1949, in Fremont.
She was a former member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include: her husband, Achiel Mohr of Fremont; two sons, Gary Mohr and Jeff Tracy, both of Fremont; four daughters, Sandra Newill, Janet (Mrs. Larry) Conrad and Dona Jo Brabec, all of Fremont, and Karen Ann (Mrs. Rich) Zrust of Bellevue; two brothers, Donald (and wife, Diana) Fisher of Fremont and John Johnson of Lincoln; a sister, Gladys Fisher of Fremont; grandchildren, Jamie and Roger Vanek, Eric and Kris Hardy, Amy and Scott Krutilek, Brian and Nichole Newill and Michelle Nielsen; and great-grandchildren, Carlie and Tanner Vanek, Trenten Hardy, Makayla Lundry, Jared and Jakob Krutilek, Gage Newill and Dylan Nielsen.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Frank Young, infant daughter, Denise Ann Mohr, infant grandson, Keith Newill Jr., and infant great-granddaughter, Ashley Nielsen.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont with the Rev. Joe Brown, chaplain of Fremont of Area Medical Center, officiating. Visitation will be from 3-9 p.m. Tuesday and 9-11 a.m. Wednesday with the family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m., all at the funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.
