Janet Pebley Obituary
Janet Gail Pebley, age 78, of Fremont, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on October 2, 2025.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Lifegate Church, Fremont, from 5 to 7 p.m. A Celebration Service of Janet's life will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, October 17, 2025, at Lifegate Church Fremont. Luncheon and fellowship to follow after the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Make-A-Wish Nebraska Foundation or the Fred and Pamela Buffett Cancer Center in memory of Janet Pebley.

I worked for Janet and her family at the Dairy Dream in North Bend in 1976-1977. Many times after we closed, I would stay with the kids for a couple of hours. Good memories. RIP Janet.

I worked with Janet at North Bend Elementary and always looked forward to seeing her. She helped many of our students (and parents as well) with her direct approach to helping with various problems. Janet never used "teacher speak" (what one parent called teachers who always spoke in letters such as
SPED, HAL, etc.) or talked "down" to parents and students. Janet was ready to help teachers as well.
