JON CARL KOPP
1947- 2016
Jon Carl Kopp age 67 of Plattsmouth, NE, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE.
Jon was born on December 29, 1947 to Arthur August and Alta Elizabeth (Rohlfs) Kopp in Council Bluffs, IA. At a young age, Jon moved with his parents to Plattsmouth, NE and he has been here since. He had worked at ENCOR in Bellevue, NE.
He was a member of the Church of the Holy Spirit in Plattsmouth.
He is survived by many cousins and friends.
Jon was preceded in death by his parents: Arthur and Alta Kopp.
Visitations were held on Monday, January 18, 2016 from 1:00 to 5:00 P.M. at Roby Funeral Home in Plattsmouth.
A Rosary Service was held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at the Church of the Holy Spirit in Plattsmouth with Father Loras K. Grell officiating, Mary Lou Salazar as lector, Tony Salazar as acolyte, Terry Little as vocalist, and Laurie Hajek-Jones as organist.
The Pallbearers were Nate Souza, Kevin Stull, Tom Woods, John Waterman, Dean Marymee, and James McCart.
Final Resting Place is Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Plattsmouth.
The family suggests memorials to Church of the Holy Spirit.
